CruxPrep is a product of Nervapta. When we say “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy we mean Nervapta and the CruxPrep service available at cruxprep.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information— name and email address you provide during sign-up or OTP verification.
• Usage data— questions attempted, answers submitted, study progress, and AI Coach report interactions.
• Payment data— processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full card number, CVC, or expiry date on our servers.
• Device & log data— IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral URLs collected automatically via server logs.
• Cookies— session cookies for authentication; no third-party advertising cookies.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve CruxPrep.
• To personalize your study experience (adaptive feed, AI Coach reports).
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (OTP codes, billing receipts).
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Stripe— for payment processing.
• Anthropic (Claude)— anonymised study data sent to generate AI Coach reports. No personally identifiable information is included in prompts.
• Hosting providers(AWS, Vercel) — to serve the application.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

6. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Request a copy of your personal data.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure server infrastructure, and follow industry best practices to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's privacy

CruxPrep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site.
