1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using CruxPrep (“the Service”), operated by Nervapta, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

CruxPrep is an AI-powered medical exam preparation platform. It provides USMLE-style practice questions (“CRUXes”), an adaptive learning engine, and AI Coach diagnostic reports. The Service is offered in free and premium tiers.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid name and email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • One account per person. We reserve the right to terminate duplicate or fraudulent accounts.

4. Free tier

Anonymous users may attempt up to 15 CRUXes without an account. After creating a free account, you may access 1,000+ CRUXes and Step 1/2/3 coverage. AI Coach reports, adaptive feed, subject filters, confusion tracking, and the knowledge graph are available only on the Premium plan.

5. Premium subscription

  • Premium is billed on a monthly ($25/month) or semi-annual ($99 every 6 months) basis via Stripe.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • Premium includes AI Coach reports (up to 50 per month), adaptive engine, subject & step filters, confusion tracking, and knowledge graph.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered for the remainder of their current billing period.

6. AI Coach disclaimer

AI Coach reports are generated by a large language model and are intended as a study aid only. They do not constitute medical advice, clinical guidance, or a guarantee of exam performance. You should not rely solely on AI Coach output for your exam preparation.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute CruxPrep content (questions, explanations, reports).
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

All content on CruxPrep — including questions, explanations, AI-generated reports, design, and code — is the intellectual property of Nervapta unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

9. Limitation of liability

CruxPrep is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nervapta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the site.

12. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
